My Sexuality Research

When I tell people “I go to school for sex” and that sexuality is actually an academic discipline, people respond with “what do you learn about?” and “what are the classes like?”. Now that I’m finally putting together my CV, I have an organized list of all the research I’ve done in “sex school”. Excluding personal reflection papers and book and film reviews, here is a list of titles of all the sexuality-related research I’ve ever done, since my first one is 12th grade until now as a human sexuality doctoral student. You’ll see there’s a diversity of topics even within such a specified field of study- super specific things like the research I did to develop a training program for doctors and nurses who perform pap tests on how to have proper bedside manner and be sensitive to insecurity the patient might have about having her gentials examined, to broad research topics like gender roles. Enjoy!
